Grow Your Blog Party
finish #1

Thank you for coming!

hi Everyone!  My name is Jaime.  I recently strated blogging on this web page this past August.  I am interested in embroidery and cross-stitch, which is going to be the main focus of my topics.  I learn so much from the blogs of others, and enjoy reading them so much that I decided to start my own quite some time ago.  I am still trying to gain my footing by figuring out how often to post, what to discuss, etc.  I am also trying to think of interesting topics, as well as creative ways to take pictures of my finished projects.

To know a little more about me, I came up with a list of ten things about me:

1. My favorite color is purple.

2. I am a huge animal lover, and also a vegetarian.

3. I work as a speech-language pathologist, librarian, and adult basic education teacher.

4. I am going to be married in Quebec City this April.

5. I LOVE to travel.

6. I am constantly trying to keep my stash of supplies from getting away with me.

7. I am a bit shy.

8. I would love to write a book someday.

9. Snow is one of my favorite things, along with how quiet it is while it is snowing.

10.  I drink lots of tea.

Thank you so much for reading, and I look forward to checking out everyone's blog.  Additionally, a big thank you to everyone who is volunteering for this event.

Always, ~Jaime

Hi, so nice to meet you. Congrats on your upcoming wedding. So much to do. My daughter married last June and was busy for a year planning. No matter your day will be lovely I a sure. (My son and his wife planned their wedding in 3 weeks - so I have seen both extremes and both are wonderful.) Thanks for sharing. Happy hopping!

Thank you Judy- so nice to meet you as well. It will be a very small wedding- a planned elopement really, with only six people coming. I can't believe it is coming up so soon! I look forward to checking out your blog.

Hello Jaime

How lovely to meet you here at Vicki's party!
I love your blog name!
You are a very talented stitcher - I love cross stitch and always have a piece on the go too!

It's hard for everyone starting off blogging and thinking of interesting things to post about. Reading everyone's posts it's really amazing how similar we all are - basically we love our families and enjoy being creative - we're the same the world over! So that's what most of us chat about!

We got married in April too - the 11th - what date is your wedding? You must be so busy planning all the details - you could always post about that too - I would love to read about it!!!

I'm following you and look forward to popping back again once the party is over!

I would love you to come over and meet me and enter my Giveaway - a vintage fabric and lace collage.
Have fun and enjoy the party!
Hugs
