This past spring semester I took a pattern-making class.  It was a really interesting class.  I think that it will help me with clothing construction, and understanding how to make adjustments to my own patterns.  It was a hard class though.  The class was online and I found myself getting further and further behind.  I was so stressed at the last minute trying to finish all of my slopers for the various garments that we were making.  I enjoyed the class immensely because you could see how what is put down on pattern paper can eventually transform itself into a garment.  I had a very difficult time with sleeve construction though.  As hard as I tried, I wasn't able to finish a sleeve sloper with even sleeves!  I will definitely have to give it another try before Patternmaking II, because it is required to have completed the sleeve sloper.
